To call attention to this crucial debate of liberty vs. security, lets organize simultaneous silent vigils across the country of peaceful gatherings of American citizens holding banners with Ben Franklin's timeless quote, "Those who would sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither". One would not have to be in a group to participate ... just wherever you are, at the appointed date and time, unfurl your banner and stand silently. The visual message would be powerful and would hopefully get the attention of LOCAL media.
